I am extremely thankful for my wonderful family and friends. I am especially thankful and grateful for my beautiful 18 month old daughter who is happy, sweet, smart and healthy. I couldn't ask for a better kid. Avery had a great thanksgiving, spending time with family and friends. She was able to spend some quality time with her great-grandmother (GG) and it was a blessing that my grandmother was able to come up for the visit. Avery made my birthday pumpkin pies with her GG and Mimi. They were delicious and she had so much fun making them. She loves her family so much! Lately she has been very interested in calling her family and friends by their names; pointing to someone and saying their name (even her own name!). At night while snuggling before bed she lists the members of her family without any prompting. We will hear her sometimes through the monitor saying everyone's names while laying in her bed. It's so sweet. I like to think she is giving everyone a little prayer before bed. 😊
Avery enjoyed her first snow of the season and was in such awe of the flakes falling from the sky. She tried to catch some flakes on her tongue! She continues to show her love for sports, pointing to the TV and asking for "ball ball". She will clap and cheer at the TV yelling "Gooooo!" or "Yaaaaay!" She also loves Moana or as she says "Ma-na-na". Luckily for her, she has been such a good girl this year, I do believe Santa will be bringing her some Moana items (shh don't tell!). Speaking of which, the suspense of hiding gifts from Avery until Christmas morning is killing me. I am way too excited to give her Christmas presents. I am not sure how I will contain myself. I cannot wait until Christmas morning!
