This little lady is a year and a half old and I can't even believe it! She is 33" tall (86th percentile) and 29 lbs (97th percentile). She is one happy, healthy, sweet and bright little girl. She keeps surprising us with the different things she learns and says every day. Chris and I really enjoy watching her grow and spending time with her. She is so fun and I love just hanging out with her playing pretend with her babies, reading a book, or doing a puzzle. She always seems to want to play and learn and I love that about her. Avery continues to enjoy her gym class and soccer 😀
Though this is not her first Christmas, it is her first Christmas where we can enjoy holiday activities with her. And let me tell you, it is SO much fun. The kid loves Christmas (just like her mama). She enjoyed picking out and decorating the tree (though we had rotten luck at the tree farm we went to). We have a Tom Brady ornament on our tree and when she sees it she yells "FOOTBALL!" (either she is already well trained, or she seriously loves football...or both!) She loves Christmas lights and has really enjoyed seeing houses decorated and lit up at night. She has fun decorating cookies and enjoys sprinkles more than the cookie. Avery is not quite into the Christmas movies yet, but she does like Frosty. Speaking of, she loves Christmas music and Frosty seems to be a hit for her this year.
Chris and I wanted to do a couple of holiday things with her this year since she is always up for new and fun things! We took her to Charmingfare Farm with her friend Robbie and saw the animals, rode a horse (of course), and took a hayride up to the North Pole to see Santa! She loved the different characters, especially the gingerbread man. She danced with them and gave them high fives and hugs. We also did the Yule Light Up the Night 2 mile race at Loudon Speed Way with all the lights they put up each year. It was her first race! Avery had a blast in the stroller looking at all the lights when Chris and I ran the race. We have had a blast doing fun things with her this holiday season. Already got word from Santa, she made the nice list!
